Chatfield State Park, Littleton, Co

Well, we finally moved out of Pikes Peak RV Park in Manitou Springs, we were really comfortable there, maybe too comfortable, even though it is in a more urban setting, it is very relaxing being in that area and we really enjoyed staying at the campground. Plenty of sight seeing to be done in the area and an easy walk to Manitou Springs for lunch and/or dinner. But time to move on and see more of Colorado. Today we are stopping for 5 nites on our way to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

We decided to stay at Chatfield State Park in Littleton Colorado before we get into Estes Park. This State Park is located adjacent to the Chatsfield Dam. There are lots of boats on the reservior here during the weekend, not so much during the week. We were able to get a site for Sunday nite through Thursday nite. Weekends, the sites are pretty much booked up. The sites are huge, I think these sites have the most distance between the sites for any campground we have been in since we started traveling years ago. We decided to come up here so we could visit the Denver Botanic Garden and we will do that on Tuesday.

Well so much for now, here are some pictures including a couple of me since the kids keep asking for a picture of me:
